Not a good picture of a hawk.
The hawk is so high up it's just a tiny speck in the middle of the picture. When I took the picture the hawk's call made it sound like it was directly above me. It's impressive the way it's call carries so clearly so far. |

near the headwaters of the West Fork Greenbrier River. Is it still called a river if you can stand astride it? |
